Instances are accessed by clicking the gear icon 
in the upper right hand corner of the page and clicking on Instances.
Once on the Role page, find the role you want to delete and move your mouse over the role to reveal the controls. Then click the delete button.
Once the delete button is clicked, you will be prompted to confirm your deletion. To finish deleting the role, click the "Delete Instance" button.
If the role is assigned to any users the deletion will be terminated and the user will receive an error message.
Once deleted you will be given a confirmation that the target role was deleted.
