Configure WMS Profile Options for Synchronous Operations

Oracle profile options can be configured using the System Administrator responsibility.

  • System Administrator -> Profile -> System 

For WMS to generate labels synchronously the following profile options must be set.

  • WMS: Label Print Mode
    • This must be set to “Synchronous - Generic”.
      • DO NOT select “Synchronous - TCP/IP”. This option is used for direct to printer printing only.

As long as the Cipher Label Common EBS Setup is completed, this will allow for synchronous label requests to be sent to Cipher.
